Acumain Welcomes Dr. Sanjay Bhatikar to Lead AI Lab

Acumain announced that Dr. Sanjay Bhatikar has joined the company to co-lead its AI Lab and help guide the firm’s innovation strategy. Dr. Bhatikar is an expert in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition and will focus on advancing cognitive search techniques and AI-driven approaches for extracting insights from large unstructured datasets. He previously led innovation initiatives at Bayer Crop Science and Monsanto, where he applied AI, computer vision, and operations research to large-scale R&D and manufacturing challenges. Earlier in his career he held senior roles at Biobase and General Electric. Dr. Bhatikar holds a B.E. from the Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune, and earned both a Master’s and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in artificial intelligence.
